MASFAA WELCOMES YOU

Welcome message from MASFAA
President-Elect Jamie Santiago

Dear Colleagues,

I am honored to extend a warm welcome to each one of you as the newly elected President of MASFAA. It is with great enthusiasm that I step into this role, and I am genuinely excited about the incredible journey ahead.

First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for the trust you have placed in me to lead our esteemed organization. I am committed to serving you with dedication, integrity, and a passion for advancing our shared goals in the State of Maine.

One of my primary focuses as your President is to ensure that we provide unparalleled support and opportunities for professional development. I recognize the importance of continuous learning in our rapidly evolving field, and my vision is to make high-quality training resources readily accessible to all members.

In the coming months, you can expect to see a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing our collective knowledge and skills. This includes:

1. NASFAA Credential Opportunities - We will be working closely with industry experts to offer these opportunities that address the specific needs of financial aid administrators across our state.

2. Continuation with Food and Facts – Hosting engaging, and informative workshops will be organized regularly, bringing you insights from leaders in our profession.

3. Networking Opportunities: We know that building a strong professional network is vital. We will facilitate events and platforms that encourage collaboration and knowledge exchange among our members within our state and region.

I encourage each of you to actively participate, share your thoughts, and take full advantage of the resources we will be offering. Together, we can elevate not only our individual careers but also the standing of our organization within the industry. Your input is invaluable to me, and I welcome any suggestions or ideas you may have. Let us embark on this journey together, supporting each other and collectively contributing to the success of MASFAA.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your President. I am looking forward to a fruitful and exciting tenure, and I can't wait to see what we can achieve together.

Warm regards,

Jamie L. Santiago, M.S.
